The Syrian American Medical Society Young Professionals Committee (SAMS) is a student-led organization welcoming Syrian American, other Arab-American, and international-healthcare-interested students to explore the work of the Syrian American Medical Society, a global medical relief organization that provides medical care on the frontlines of crisis relief in Syria and the surrounding nations. Recognizing the opportunities to volunteer on service mission trips, fundraise, and spread awareness, this student organization is committed to providing opportunities for students to learn and demonstrate the core values physicians exhibit when administering medical care in crisis zones.
